Pennsylvania Apostolic Prayer Network Leadership

Our Mission

PAPN leaders are distinctly tasked to bring forth William Penn’s covenantal call for Pennsylvania that “My God would make it a holy seed of a nation, an example to the nations, for the nations, want a precedent, that we would do the thing that is wise and just.” We are prayerfully building communities governed by God that live peaceably in brotherly love and modeling Kingdom community. In Penn’s words from his book No Cross, No Crown, “The work of apostleship is to turn people from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God.” Our apostolic work across the state is to “build my city and set captives free” (Isaiah 45:13) as God spoke to Penn when he commissioned him with his seal of divinity.

“The work of apostleship is to turn people from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God.”

PAPN State Leader

The PAPN state leader is Abby Abildness. Abby provides invaluable instruction and direction to leaders across the state, overseeing the PAPN through weekly conference calls and semi-annual training opportunities. Prayer initiatives and teaching support trickle down from the national level to the state level and then to the county level. Abby oversees the state's three geographic regions; Eastern Pennsylvania, Central Pennsylvania, and Western Pennsylvania. There are county leaders for many counties across the Commonwealth, and we are seeking to fill all 67 positions for a complete statewide network.

PAPN Leadership Mandate

God has called the Pennsylvania Apostolic Prayer Network of the Keystone State to unite Kingdom leaders' hearts to bring unity in the community among churches and community groups. Our call is to bring a shift in society toward Kingdom governing purposes. At Antioch, the Jews and Gentiles impacted Paul by coming together. It became the model and first base for an apostolic network for his missionary trips. Apostolic centers and networks are emerging to bring global transformation. We provide a structural model that links the churches in an organic relational system with sustained communication. PAPN is working together to restore God’s purposes for Pennsylvania and the nations.

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, shall be exalted above the hills, and peoples shall flow to it. (Micah 4:1 NKJV)

PAPN County Leader Responsibilities:

  1. County leaders are watchmen over their counties, and the redemptive gift contributions of their counties to build into the Pennsylvania state call to be a holy example to the nations. They have the freedom to do prayer initiatives needed for their counties, in line with the regional, state, and national missions and initiatives. They can consult with our state spiritual mapper for specific prayer initiatives.

  2. County leaders should develop a five-fold prayer leadership team as a guide and prayer shield for themselves and their initiatives. Team leaders should demonstrate gifts as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.

  3. County leaders identify and build an apostolic hub in their county to network and train leaders for prayer initiatives. It can be in a church, courthouse, community center, ministry, or business to be a central leadership prayer and training source center.

  4. Network positional relationships among seven mountain leaders (Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media, and Religion) and impact the community. Mainly involve prayer and action groups connecting with governing leaders for governmental intercession, business intercession, healing and healthcare intercession, as well as church and state support.

  5. Host regional prayer, training events, and community activities to impact the community.

  6. Stay connected with the network on Tuesday morning conference calls and twice annual summits.
